Selected Best of Category - Ballasts and Transformers: Odyssey™ Series custom-designed LED emergency and AC/emergency drivers. (Custom AC drivers are also available in the series.) � Odyssey emergency and AC/emergency drivers are built according to customer/project specifications and operate high-brightness LEDs, including those from Osram Opto, Lumileds™, Nichia, Cree and GELcore. � Odyssey emergency and AC/emergency drivers support 90 or more minutes of emergency illumination when AC power is lost. During normal operation, AC power energizes the driver’s relay and charges its battery. When AC power fails, the relay switches to the battery source to power the driver. The LED fixture is then able to provide a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency lighting, as required by code (e.g., NFPA® Life Safety Code® and National Electrical Code®).
