The Daylight Torchere is the big brother of the Halide Trochere. Also an uplight fixture using a metal halide source, this uses a 250 watt bulb producing nearly as much light as a 1000 watt halogen bulb. The ballast is just under the reflector. Mounted on the stem is a push button switch with a red pilot light.
